History

The Help the People Fund was set up in March 2007 with the aim of helping the local people work their way out of poverty.

The fund operates from Punjab and provides interest-free loans to the poor, who would otherwise have little or no access to the formal financial sector. While some of their basic livelihood needs could be met through small loans, they lack access to financial institutions and financial products that might cater to these needs.

Vision

The Help the People Fund team have a vision of assisting in the dream to build a society, where there will be social justice, equity and equality. We believe all people are born with the right to work their way out of poverty.
